They look quite cool, thanks for the link!
I always get a kick out of how "non-primary colored" they are. That choice was probably driven by the "non-traditional" shapes the designers chose.

I can't wait for this. I have wanted a nice EVA for some time, but I was always put off by kaiyodo's shoddy product. This is gonna be awesome.

Having seen that there are two more EVAs on the SOC pipeline, does this mean an end to the Super Robots line of SOCs?  |

Nah... Bandai likes to strike while the iron his hot. Look at all the mazinger gear we got during the mazinger anniversary. Same thing with Evangelion. There is a re-mastered evangelion push about to happen, so theyre going to push eva soc's for the next year, but i think there's plenty more classic super robot designs in the future.
The evangelion set is called Evangelion Renewal, if anyone cares...

i don't know why but for some reason Eva robots never got my interest. the robots just look too hip hop. i am over of the old school.

A buddy of mine.....
I was just informed that Toonami is airing episodes of Evangelion twice this week as part of their themed "Super Robot Week" or something like that. How can they possibly air it and keep it as good as the original? There is no way they can air it with out cutting so much out of the series. When I first saw NGE I remember so much graphic violence ... I guess that will most definitely censored. I hope this isn't old news .

I think they will only show 2 episodes and that is it , they won't actually show the entire series.

Hmmmm I never really considered EVAs as Super Robots. They are more like giant bio-bots. Truth is when NGE was being aired in my country I ignored it. My Loss  |
