How much is my MIB 1/48 VF-1J Max Jenius worth? I couldn't find a single example on Ebay, even when checking completed listings. Is it rare or what?

1/14? I think what you mean is the Yamato 1/48 scale Macross VF-1J Maximillian Jenius - or the mostly all blue Valk from the end of the TV episodes. (I'm guessing this because your thread's title says 1/48.)  I'm not much help with giving info on the exact going price of this Yamato 1/48 Valk. I don't have one myself. On the other hand, I didn't have any 1/48 scale Valks until last year when Yamato started to reissue most of the line. Now I don't have much space to store the huge 1/48 Valk boxes in my room. A few months ago, I was desperate to buy a DYRL 1/48 VF-1A Maximillian Jenius. I was even willing to pay double the selling price to get one. Fortunately, Yamato reissued the DYRL 1/48 VF-1A Max. With the release of the Hayao DYRL VF-1A, I've now a complete squadron. Anyway, my guess is that Yamato will also reissue both the blue Max and red Millia VF-1J if there's enough demand for them. I've no doubt that many 1/48 scale Valk collectors missed out on these two items. It's just a matter of time before Yamato eventually reissues these Valks, so be patient and be kind to your wallet.

Dude, if you're referring to the VF-1J Max Jenius with FAST Packs, you're in luck!
Those fool things haven't been re-issued by Yamato like the other 1/48's. They originally sold for approximately $170 a pop. You can probably sell those things at about $200 to $225.

I'd say sell now before Yamato reissues. (Then you can use the money to buy other Yamato valks.) ;D

Well, I really only want 1 Yamato jet at a time to go with my Konig Monster and Garland, and I chose the YF-19. Too much other stuff I want (CMS Raijin Oh, other Brave figures, SOC Ideon, SOC Gunbuster, etc.) and so little I can afford, so I have to sacrifice something of value.

If you are going to sell I'd sell NOW as cause I think I read somewhere @ macrossworld that it was going to be re-issued soon

A few people told me between $300-400 now. i've saw a few auctions for them in the fall as a Buy It Now $399 that didnt sell. i also haven't seen one for a long time... good time to sell is now. i would offer as i don't go for the DYRL stuff too much, but i have no $$$!  |

yup....probably the best time to sell would be now....otherwise buyers are just gonna wait till Yamato re-issue them!!!
