Macross 25th Anniv. Valks from Yamato???

These pics were posted on MW by Penachoy, and is from the Tokyo Animation Fair 2007. On display on the Yamato booth, and-on pure speculation- looks like it's the scheme for the 25th Anniversary of Macross!

Personally, the colors are hideous! I hope that's not the final scheme, and change it to something better like this one:

Hmm, I actually don't think the VF-1 in fighter mode looks half-bad...But I am also half-blind from staring at my screen for the last 15 hours. Maybe tomorrow morning that valk will look all-bad.

And I thought the Jun red, white and Blue chunky monkey was a gagger, these take the cake. I remember seeing a Minmei guard Valk...was that ever mass produced or was that a custom only thingy?

Mimay Guard was a custom.

Finally! Some confirmation!

According to Graham from MW, and from HLJ (www.hlj.com/showreports/animefes07/pictures/cimg0878.html), the hideous paint schemes on the VF-1 and YF-19 from the TANF2007 are CUSTOM JOBS! (thank the Hory Froating Head!)

Personally, the colors work on the YF-19 in all modes, but on the VF-1... it's hideous!
