Help! Just got this Romando voltes V vinyl kit. I need pointers on what tools I need, using hair dryer vs dipping in hot water and what glue to use. The instructions are in japanese so I am lost. I manage to look into some sites but they involve unpainted models. Which method will be better (using hair dryer vs dipping in hot water) so as not ruin the paint... Thank you.

Thanks John. I actually finished mine and did use the hair dryer. The main thing that frustrated me was trying to cut the vinyl as perfect as possible so that the pieces fit better. How did you do with the sword & that belt with the wire??? BTW: I seem to remember that you had a project for a bigger voltes V... did you ever finish that?

Daimos is an alchoholic. He's either at the bar or passed out in bed.

I finished that 8 foot voltes V...it was displayed in the den of my house for quite sometime...but I had to VOLT it out...it was taking too much space...the "volt machines are now parked in my garage ...in boxes of course :-)

That is so cool John. Where did you buy that Voltes V helmet? ANd is that huge Voltes made of "cardboard" boxes?
You are definitely talented.

Do they still make them or is it discontinued? I only see them once in a blue moon in ebay. And at high prices too.

hi. just wanna ask you guys, when do you need to cut the extra parts in this kit? I'm just avoiding disaster that's why I ask first, I want to assemble mine and I can't find any tutorial about this kit. Do I need to cut every excess plastic first? ty Hope you can help me.
Thank You.
