That was the single coolest Youtube clip I've seen in a LONG while! Thanks for finding it!
...and what a tease! the action ends just as Max and Milia square off! (and recreating the first few maneuvers where Max transformers into a Battroid to shoot down the incoming missiles was an awesome tribute).
Edit: holy crap! I just realized (by reading the creator's notes) that this is the same guy who was experimenting with stop motion last year! I saw the preliminary "walking battle pod" he posted back then and NEVER expected it to turn into this! IMPRESSIVE!
