You might want to change your topic title. The page clearly states it is 1/60 scale.

What are the improvements for this revision?

I was checking around MW, and did not find information on any changes to the re-release of the 0S, although second batches of the 0S have reportedly better fitting compartments for the ands in Valk mode (you know the part of the backpack where the hands slide in?), and no more bent tailfin spikes out of the box.
I don't recall having come across or read any shoulder problems on the 0S though, only on the VF-0A.
In any case, changing some break-prone parts (like the shoulders) to POM would be great.

I hope this is what we've been waiting for: www.collectiondx.com/node/1674Courtesy of Collection DX. It's the VF-0S with booster. I hope the desired improvements have been incorporated into this VF-0S. If so, I may finally get one.

I'd recommend waiting for thorough reviews first.
I haven't checked MW yet, but last time I checked there's still no final word if the VF-0 w/ Ghost packages are using POM shoulders. Sad news though, some collectors who bought the replacement shoulders from HLJ immediately noticed stress marks on the supposed POM parts, so.... better safe than sorry.

To be honest I've stopped caring about the shoulders ever since I received my VF-0A Shin bundle (I had 2 VF-0As + a VF-0S prior to that). It seems more like a design problem than poor material choice. Unless they change it to a ratchet joint there's a substantial chance that it'll break.
So far out of all my Zero valks only one shoulder has cracked. The rest have undergone a tremendous amount of play with no problems at all.

It kinda defeats the whole purpose with the CAD design and all. That's great to hear. Sadly though, with the prices these things are going for back here, most of us can't / won't take any chances in the possibility of getting a lemmon.

I understand what you mean Omni. Shelling out ~US$140 for a toy that has a ticking time bomb (major) defect is not really the wisest of choice. I have the luck of getting my Zero valks pretty cheap, so it doesn't pain me as much when the shoulders break.
However even with the risk of cracking shoulders it's a good idea to get at least the VF-0S (cheap if possible). Design-wise it's a masterpiece of its own.

The Shin Kudo with booster runs about $200-240 USD with shipping factored in so I figure the VF-0S with booster will be about the same. The VF-0A alone seems to be priced around $150-160 inc. shipping. With prices like these, I'm much more cautious as well. I'm keeping my fingers crossed about the VF-0S + booster set.
