I think he didn't sleep for three straight days. Anyway, watch Mr. Sakurai (a.k.a. "Macross Master") work on a Hasegawa Macross Zero 1/72 scale VF-0S. Part 1: Part 2:

That's so awesome to watch! Hmm... I wish I could understand everything he was saying... Particularly why he glued in those "shells" inside the nose-cose. What are those for and where does he get them? And that was a cool trick to clean primer and putty out of the panel lines using thick tape as a guide for your knife.

It was impressive to watch the "Macross Master" professionally build a kit. The "shells" are actually fishing line weights I believe to put some downforce in the nosecone. I wish I'd seen these videos several years ago when I was still putting together models. It sure helps to have the right equipment/tools and "compounds" like the plastic polishing compounds for clear plastics. Wonder where you could find that. Anyway, glad that Yamato builds Valks for those of us who don't have the time or the tools to build them.

I don't like playing with my toys or building model kits while smoking. Bad idea. Oh I forgot, I don't smoke. ;D
Nice video though.

I don't have that kind of skills to go with model kits so ready made ones for me.
