hi boyet, the sculptor is offering three types of paint apps- regular (probably ordinary acrylic you can buy in hardware stores), artist acrylic, and oil paint. his prices...
5,400.00 pesos ($108) regular paint app
5,900.00 pesos ($118) artist acrylic
7,200.00 pesos ($144) oil paint

yeah me too bro...the 'soul' of the figure are the eyes like they say . IMO, i think for now the best bet is the artist acrylic paint app. in a figure this size, mistakes and subtlety in applying the oils can easily be seen. his oil painter must be very good in blending the stuff for it to be really life like. or else the oil paint wud just be pasty or lumpy, and no subtle transition of highlights and shades. sometimes a great sculptor, is not always a great painter too. but if he could pull it of, that's great. let's wait and see the final mass prod ver first
