It might be one of those "special offer" things where its a promotion if you buy something or subscribe to a magazine. Kinda like the clear fast packs.

hi i have the 1/48s he is selling the VF-1S he is simply giving you some extra heads so you can convert it to the 1A or 1J , you can sometimes pick up spare heads and parts on macrossworld. this is nothing really special,

...but these come from a Japanese auction, not Macrossworld, and they have a factory box.

if it was just "parts" then why would the seller keep them in a plastic bag for pictures?

They come in that wierd little Macross branded box- are they a magazine or online exclusive?

i'd love to know as well.

do you use an japan auction service or you have a yahoo jp id?

i use rinkya, to bid. as for the heads i have seen parts on yahoo japan as well as other sites so it is not just limited to Macrossworld. by the way that little box is for the clear fast packs the heads do not come with that , he is probably just storeing them in the box and plastic bags to protect them from dust and mishandling, i do that for my models and resin kits
