SD Gundams are now in stores. Has anyone purchased them yet?
I am hearing from my contact that Bandai may give robot-japan a few for free product reviews ;D

I happened to catch an episode of SD Gundam on Cartoon Network- sort of like Barney the Dinosaur with CG Gundam animation. HORRIBLY lame. Even my eight year old nephew gagged. The toys are just as appealing as the show. JWM

Hmmm...
I saw the show too and thought it was pretty slow. The action sequences took an incredible amount of time to develop. The Computer work though was pretty impressive considering it was just a cartoon. (low budget)

I used to get a kick out of the 'Super-Deformed' pieces, even though I haven't bought one. As for Superior Defender, I'll agree that the animation is cool, and fun to watch, but the story was just a little too sentimental. I can enjoy childrens' shows- (guilty confession- I like Hamtaro, and Pokemon) This one just didn't do it for me. JWM

I just got the feeling the show was in slow motion as if they were saving their CGI budget But it IS a kid's show. They did pretty well considering.
