Okay, when I was a kid, I used to dream about having the whole set of one of these, and now that I'm older, I kind of like the look of the Renegade one and constantly see it going absurdly cheap on ebay. How is it? Does it hold together well? Does it have any diecast content in the main ship? Do most Go Bots fit inside them, and would standard 4" action figures?

According to a pic I found on line, each suit has it's own 'compatible' gobots. So, certain suit can only fit specific gobots. I don't have any power-suit, so I can't really experiment with it.

I'm not a huge Go-Bots fan (in fact, I'm not much of one at all), so I think I'd probably just try to put something else in them if any old Go-Bos won't work.
How's the quality of the toy, itself?

How's the quality of the toy, itself? Well, I like it. There's not a whole lot of diecast metal on it, but it is pretty sturdy. You may or may not know, but the main body of the Robot doubles as a spaceship w/o the battle suits on it. If I have time this weekend I'll try and get some pics taken for ya. Also, are you just gonna get the renegades? I have all 4 of the guardian suits if you decide to get that one. They're yours if you want them. Nothing broken, just need a little cleaning. Then you would only have to get the"body". |

He's a beaut! I saw one on ebay go for under $3 last night! NM, still had the box, but missing one fist and accessories. Honestly, I just completely forgot to bid  But I'm sure another will come up. Thanks so much for the Guardian offer! I think I'm just going to focus on getting the Renegade one for now, since my space is so limited, but I truly appreciate the offer! |

Thanks much! I actually ended up seeing the Guardian version in a toy store recently and realized I liked it better after all. It was complete and only $7, so it's mine now  Thanks again for all your help! |

If you mean the four red ones that combine into one, then yes. It had it's fists too. Were those the only accessories?

Yup! It's complete then Darn good shape too. He was sitting on the top shelf of this toy store (and their shelves go all the way to the ceiling). I asked how much he was, and the guy said "Those Go-Bots don't sell at all. How's $10?". I thought about it for a moment, and he suddenly dropped to $7. I would have bought all the Go-Bots he had (I don't have any), but I was tight on cash at the time. Maybe next time... |

wow, you guys solved a little mystery for me there. I had those guns (in black) floating around forever, but i never knew what they went to. Now I know they went to the enemy power suit!
