Machine Robo Battle Base?

Can someone tell me a little about it? I nearly bid on it today, until I realized I had no idea what it was like. What's the quality of plastic? Is it hollow or solid? Does it come with figures? Is it "cool"?

Looks like a pretty rare item, but I'm not in a position to spend $40 for an item I know nothing about.

It fold open, and IIRC it has a lift for your Machine Robo and some other stuff (launchers etc.).

Kimono My House had one for $30, IIRC.

The one I saw was only o.k. . It is a clam shell design that opens up with an unfolding platform in black plastic. I consider it more of a carrying case/ base.
