Hey guys,i'm new ....anyway i have a question concerning the Mask Rider Faiz(Blaster Form) and Auto Vajin figure, does the legs of the Faiz figure tends to get loose easily?cuz i've been hearing mix reviews about this figure, some say that the legs are so loose that it pretty much makes posing and standing difficult. And that's the only reason that's stopping me from purchasing it...so plz tell me it's not true...

The legs aren't as tight on Faiz Blaster as on my other SICs, but it's still a cool set if you can get it for a reasonable price.

so is there any trouble posing it or even making it stand?

I don't convert the bike to the battle mode, but when I first converted it, the joint was pretty tight. I prefer to keep it in bike form because it takes less space. However, what I thought will give trouble over the time is the way the arms are connected to the body in battle form... the joint is just too small!! Otherwise, the sculpt is cool, that's why I choose to pass the SIC-28 and go straight for the Blaster and Autovajin set!!

Doh!! I misread the inquiry (smacks head!). The figure does seem to be having tendency of getting loose at the leg joints (watch for the ankle joints), because it uses similar joint system with the Ryuki Series, which I had unfortunately proven with the SIC Knight. Therefore, I rarely play with them anymore, only change their pose sometimes.

Damm.....so are the legs loose straight out of the box or does it gets loose only after a certain amount of playing time?I don't mind if it only gets loose after messin with it...since i don't intend to play with it...i'd probably just change it's poses sometimes...

The legs only comes loose after a certain amount of play time, espescially after some extreme poses. But, he's not as top heavy as the SIC Knight with his cape on, so I guess it will take quite a time. Out of the box, they're fine. The only experience I ever had with loose joint straight out of the box is on my SIC-11 Hakaider and Bike. The torso joint is so loose, although it does not come off. Any of you guys have similar problems?!

No problemo, man! I guess the Hakaider loose torso joint is common, then. Sai, you definitely can't miss this guy! Where I live, this figure was such a great deal, that although being a new release, his price was jacked up by local suppliers (None of the chain stores where I live carry the SIC line, all have to be obtained from Hobby Shops at *sometimes* ridiculous prices). Best for you is to get both (and may God have mercy on your budget)!!

lol..if i didn't pre-ordered that Cloud On Fenrir and those FFVIII figures i'd probably have enough money to buy both of them....but oh well it sucks to be poor...unless you can tell me where i can get a tree that grows money *winks*....oh yeah one last thing concerning the Faiz figure...how's the arm joints?I assume the joints are tight enough to lift that weapon of his right?....

So far my Faiz Blaster is OK. To think of it, most of my SIC's arm joint are satisfyingly tight. I always pose my SIC's in their strongest form, therefore the Kuuga Mighty Form is always carrying that big die cast sword, and the Agito Trinity Form is carrying both the diecast sword and the halberd thingy. For the Faiz blaster, the weapon (don't know what its called...) is pretty light for its size, because no diecast.
Do you guys consider getting the Lord of Byston Well series? If any of you got them, quick review please!!!

Sai, congrats on the Faiz Blaster - Autovajin set... Heh..heh..antother one takes the bait! For your next set, if possible, I suggest that you obtain the Ryuki Survive set first, because it's an older release, and since it's the main hero of the show, it might get pretty rare in the near future (where I live it already is...) For the Alt. 0 and Ryuga set, the set is still in abundant (I think...), and even the price has gone down a little. As for the Lord of Byston Well series, as others have explained, it's a spin-off from the SIC on series on the Dunbine mechs, done in very similar gritty flavor, possess similar gokin acessory (I think the Dunbine has metal weapons), and sculpted by the very same Takeyuki Takeya that sculpts some of the SICs, and last but not least, packaged in a very similar SIC-esque way. Check for info here: Dunbine www.hlj.com/product/ban934785Virunvee www.hlj.com/product/BAN934885And Omni, you sold your SICs?! That's too bad... although you start to collect the LOB series... Care to share some reviews?!

You can always use super glue for fixing loose SIC joints. Not to glue it fixed on the attachment. Just apply a layer or two on the ball (apply on ball only, not the socket) and let dry before attaching it back, so that the super glue hardens and makes the ball thicker. Now it should fit nice and tight. This super glue trick is the saviour for the SIC joints and works wonders saving them from diving off your shelf. For loose hinges joints, use dental floss.
