Hello tokusatsu fans. I usually hang out on the Henshin Cyborg page but I buy the odd tokusatsu and I’ve seen recent Bandai figures of Space Sheriffs Gavan, Sharivan and Shaider. Interest in these figures here in the UK is so small that nobody imports them to my knowledge, so I have to resort to buying them internationally on the internet. This is all well and good, but it means I have to judge whether the thing is worth having from a tiny photograph. So, does anybody have these figures, and if so, can they recommend them, or are they a disappointment? Could anybody post pictures or a link to pictures?
They look to be similar in design to Saint Seiya/Knights of the Zodiac and the Winspector series. Are they similarly articulated? Do the pelvis armour pieces not come off? Thanks for any help.

Hypnotator, from my little knowledge, I think the new Space Sheriff series are comparable to the Armor Trans Kamen Riders - which the armor are removable. However, without the armor on, the figure kinda looks unproportional, because the head is usually too small (to accommodate the helmet). However, articulation is great, you can pose them in almost any way you want, and if you can live without posing these figures without taking off their helmets, you should be fine... These pictures are bigger than the others I've seen, and I see what you mean about the tiny heads. still not sure whether i want to buy, especially now that I've bought a vintage Gavan figure.

You are very welcome!! I think these figures are a good start for Space Sherriff collection since we have not seen a modern renditition for at least 20 years...

These Space Sheriff figures are know to have loose armor. They fall off easy, you you might need to glue them on or do some mod to make them stay. Think it will be easy fix, and the figures do look kind of nice. If you buy from the right places, they can be pretty cheap. But the real thing doesn't look as good as those pics.
