tformers.com/article.php?sid=4757 (read on as the article, being in a TF site, focuses on the new Binaltech repaints/remolds). Should this be true (and I see no reason to doubt it), can we expect the same insane quality Masterpiece Convoy had? The mind boggles.

The mind, indeed, does boggle. Man, I hope they don't screw this up...and I hope they also make an AirKaiser or whatever, to combine. That'd be SA-WEET! Hopefully, if they DO do a gattai-ing Exkaiser, it'll look something like this: halfeye.m78.com/products/sf_dk/ge_f2.html That'd be so sweet...so big, too.

Hey Fugly, nice to see you here ^_^; Think the guys at the ToyBoxDX would be interested in this?
By AirKaiser, do you mean DragonKaiser? That would indeed be awesome, though I'm not sure if they'll go for it... After all, they didn't seem to pursue the idea of a Jinrai-style combining trailer for MP Convoy. Heck, they didn't release a trailer AT ALL...

Ah yeah, DragonKaiser. Nice to see ya too! :^)
Man, good point about the combiner. "Jinrai-style combining trailer for MP Convoy" you mean Ultra Magnus, right? When everybody heard the news about UM, a lot of people thought it'd actually have its armor, but alas it was not to be. Man, now I'm less excited...but, the thing about transformers and braves were that Transformers were always about transforming, and the occasional combiner, but the nice thing about the Brave series were they ALWAYS combined, as WELL AS (usually) transforming. Hmmm...man, I really do hope they do DragonKaiserComboThing...

Man, whatta weird design. Personally, I think it's pretty dang cool. I like the mini-exkaiser-dude (man, can't keep my Brave name's straight! Yeesh! :^), and although the vehicle mode is a bit...uh, funky, I think the chunky well-articulated King Exkaiser is fine. The proportions aren't as good as say, Studio Halfeye's, but this is going to be a lot bigger (my guess around 8, 9 inches) and when it gets painted it's going to look WAY better. Besides! It looks like mini-me will be able to do robo-kung-fu!

Goofy car mode, awesome 'bot mode. My hope is that in a couple years they'll release a Masterpiece ChoRyuJin and GekiRyuJin set...

I can't figure that picture out. The starburst in the center proclaims that the toy is "300mm" tall. And yet he's clearly around 150mm (6" or so). Since there's no logical reason that I can think of to have a _smaller_ prototype, I can only conclude that the new toy will be standard SOC-sized.
