What Macross/Robotech toys do you consider the most rare & valuable? I'm going to acknowledge the alphabeta minipack from Europe.

Well I dont know what a black miryia is. but most of what you guys mentioned, my friend has, and I have seen and held many times. yes he has the holy grail, the Gakken Tread w/ Alpha. Stickers unapplied and missles too I think.
Super-O I have to say are hard to get but not that hard. in less than a year I managed to acquire three boxed Ostriches. only spending at most $350 for one of them. one of which was pure mint white.
Now the Elint seeker is definitely a little bit harder. I am working on getting one as we speak. for $600 MIB.
A Takatoku Super VF-1S I think also warrants rare. I dont usually see them very often for sale. However i managed to get one myself by trading that white ostrich. But the guy threw in a Boxed Taka 1/55 Millia along with the Super 1S.

i'll have to add the SDF-1 - Takatoku or Matchbox - to the mix.
In any condition, its fetching a pretty penny.

I think the hardest valks to get are the 1/55 bootlegs. Not so much the Joons, but the other ones not even produced in Korea. For example, the Hergoss Walkyrie HF-1S released in France. They were manufactured in Macau. I just managed to get a boxed one of these and the build quality is actually on par with takatoku.
Other noteable tough-to-find boots:
- Arabian valkyrie seen in Iraq ( these are probably all blown to hell by now) - "Strike" Valkyrie - Bootleg Hikaru VF-1s released with no armor in standard sized box but using the Bandai strike valk box artwork. - Matsushiro VF-J Hikaru from western europe

my friend xstoys has most of those if not all of them Yeah, I've only seen a few pics of his collection but I have to say that Xstoys is probably the most prolific buyer of toys I have ever seen. This guy must spend some mad money just to keep up with all the toy lines he follows as I have seen him on other boards looking for Legendary Comicbook Heroes figures and the like, so he is quite diverse. I have most of the 1/55 bootlegs, just a few left to track down but they are the tough ones. If Xstoys has the Arabian Valk, I'd love to see some good front/back box pics as the one image I have is small.

Well... if you wanted to get b*tchy. The Beta 2-pack is very rare. I have had about 5 Beta's, and I did sell off my boxed on and now only have a broken one and a ok one. I have seen others over time, but I still have one heard and see one of these... I would state the Black Miriya is extremely rare and rarely appear, maybe one or two a year on ebay. Another rarity is the SDF-1 Playset. Those two, and the Beta, and the 2-pack above are rare indeed. Of course the Ostrich and Elint are up there.

Rarest?
Takatoku SDF-1, especially a complete one with the out box. Mine is pretty mint and complete, but I only have the inner box which a little beat up.
Elint Seeker and the Ostrich both of which has not been reproduced or reissued, yet.
None Macross Tak's but similar that are also extremely rare:
Orguss - most of trhem Mugen Caliber, which was later Road Buster transformer. This one has various scale sizes.
