Heya! Since most of you here know a lot about the Yuusha series, I was wondering what, in your opinion, is the best "toy" of the bunch? I'm leaning towards Super Build Tiger and Might Gaine, but I'm curious about your guy's opinion! Thanks! ;D

I think the Ebay prices are kind of high considering they're Korean versions. I'm not sure but I remember the Korean toys having a lower selling price on Ebay back then, compared to the Japan ones. But, the quality of the toy is essentially identical to it's Japansese counter part. Hehe, I can't help answer the first question since I don't have any of the other Braves outside of the Gaogaigar line.  Gold |

Depends on how you defing "toy".  If it's playability, then I really like Land Bison, Fire Dagwon and Guardion, to name a few. Those eBay prices there are way too high IMO -- but fair is fair: People want to pay money like that for 'em, be my guest. But they might as well buy my MIB Takara reissue Da-Garn for $40, then... ;D |

...my favorite Brave toy is absolutely Great Goldran...but it's also one of my favorite toys in absolute ;D

and im sure fighbird would mention yahoo japan/celga but i dont use those so i'm not able to tell you much about how it works... Yahoo! Japan! Celga! There -- I did it! ;D Regarding buying stuff through Celga and the like, the selection is seriously more varied -- but considering deputy service fees and overseas shipping, some items usually end up rather expensive. So it's a gamble, really. For US citizens, the above listed stores might be the cheapers solutions after all...  |

I have a fair few and GGG, FireDagwon and Fighbird are my favourites.
I really recomend FireDgawon, he is great.

Goldran has got to be the coolest robot toy I have ever owned. That's definately my #1! Super Build Tiger is awesome, but nowhere near the cream of the crop.
Here are my favorites, in order:
1. Great Goldran (King Kaiser, if only buying one member of the combiner)
2. GaoGaiGar
3. King J-Der (he's a brick, but he looks awesome!)
4. Fire Dagwon
5. J-Decker
There are also some sweet Transformers that got recycled into the Brave series. The Mightgain version of Diatlus is sweet (avoid the knock off version in that list of ebay items you linked to!) and Dugbase is pretty darn sweet too (if you don't mind bricky playsets)!
Those prices are decent for ebay, but sasha can probably hook you up with a better deal if you PM him.

I've made "Brave collecting" my long term goal in toy collection. I own robots from various companies and toylines but still found Yuusha to be the most playable and fun. Currently I own:
Whole of GGG series from Takara
Great Goldran giftset, God Silverion giftset and a loose Cap Shark
J-Decker, 2 loose fire engines, 2 loose super buildtigers
Guardion and BattleBomber
The Lion that combines with Dagaan
Just added whole set for Exkizer to my collection cheap!! ;D
From those that I have, I think the ones I liked best are are G Goldran, GreatExkizer (he's really massive!!), King J-Der GaoGaiGar with Goldymarg, GodSilverion, Ultraraker
The ones I liked best which I don't have are Great Mightgaine, Pegasus Saver and Great Fighbird
Its really fun collecting Brave toys. If you wait long enough and search hard enough you'd find cheap ones. The ones I bought are on the average $30-40 (sometimes boxed, sometimes loose but usually toy conditions are great) with the execption of G Goldran. Ones I have extra are bought dirt cheap ;D

Ho...holy cow man, that's a lot of Yuusha! Although right now I'm saving up for the Armored 1/48, I'm still searching for good toys...thanks so much for the reccomendations guys!

Yep -- Takara reissue with stickers applied. Already packed up and ready to ship ('cause some lamer never paid me for it). Shipping is high, though, because of the high rates we have around here  But $70 shipped to anywhere in the world. PM me if interested. |

Hi all. I'm new to the list and to the brave lineage. I am contemplating starting collecting the main guys in each of the series (main being the biggest gestalt of the series i.e GGG) I really want to start with the godlran gestalt cause...well its big and its gold...oh yeah its big  the toyarena link looks promising but does anyone know of a place that has the Sorakage fig available? I know about the ebay auctions but shipping for me would be 20-30$ not including canadian customs. Oh and to a side note how many of the brave yuusha figures have launchable projectiles??? Ive thought that the goldran figues had launchable missile but after looking over other sites I am doubting that. |
