It's a contest prize. Limited numbers were made: 50 when the reissue came out, then 10 when the Masterpiece toys came out, so 60 total. I'm looking for one myself. I was very close to buying one a year ago, but it slipped through my hands. Some pictures: www.asahi-net.or.jp/~cr8j-ti/brave/goldexkaizer/goldexkaizer.htmI think it is worth about $500 ~ $600.

There were 60 of these made? I thought there were only 5. I really want one actually. Exkaizer being my favorite design of all times, i would love to own one. I have never seen it for sale so i have no clue where to get it. They actually made 10 extra ones when the Masterpieces came out?
Or did they make Gold ver. of the Masterpieces?

Yes, they made 60. Yes, they made 10 extras after the initial 50 when the Masterpiece toys came out. The 10 extras are the DX version, not the Masterpiece version. There has never been a lucky draw Masterpiece Brave toy....

When you say DX I know that means Deluxe but is it just the small car or a small version of the toy period?

When you say DX I know that means Deluxe but is it just the small car or a small version of the toy period? Huh? DX King Exkaiser is the 12 inch toy with the complete transformation. When people think of the 1990's King Exkaiser one, that's the one they usually think of. Maybe you're getting it confused with the STD version, which had the more limited transformation...? I'm not really sure what you're talking about, really
