Roanstalker, yeah I saw that those parts had to be removed but I don't mind simple things like Heads/hands/weapons. What I hate is having an integral part of the animated transformation/combination achieved with a half arsed measure, like Yamatos 1/60 Valks needing their legs swapped over compared to Takatokus perfect change 1/55's. That said, there is going to be a measure of parts addition/subtraction at the very least, the head crest appears out of nowhere for instance and the chest plate changes shape magically as it attaches not to mention the bird heads appearing. Mightgaine, thanks for the confirmation.

check the page today, and they change it!, baan was fixed, and they add chrome to some parts of baagaan and machsperion Yeah, it's definitely a new set of pics they've put up. These seem to be probably more accurate to what this will really look like. Frankly, I would rather that CM used the metallic paint like in their previous shots than the chrome stuff. I have to say that I'm starting to wonder just how much plastic is going to be in this thing because it sort of looks more plastic oriented, and the fact that they aren't putting Baangaan under their Brave Gohkin line leads me to believe that there won't be a whole lot of gohkin unfortunately. But its looks are fairly good and I can't imagine that it won't have decent construction after the whole GGGG DX debacle along with the not exactly high quality construction of God-Rajinoh.

the question is.... will CMS do as for the GGGG when they release a first DX version at a high price and after some months they released the normal line version at cheaper price? Because the price is very high and the fact it is limited i was thinking this is the same situation gggg was.

Yup. The DX GGGG case may repeat itself here. Maybe it would be wiser to wait until CMS release the Great BaanGaan in the Brave Gokin line, or at least wait till there's a proper review out.
Although with that kind of complexity, I can't imagine a gokin Great BaanGaan would be priced much lower compared to this DX one.

*looks at preview on CM's site* *head explodes with the force of a thousand suns* Words cannot express the joy im feeling right now. it will be mine!!!!! Now that thats said, i do agree with waiting. They probably will make a lower cost one, but what were the differences in quality in the case with GGGG??? I do want something that will last out my transforming frenzy's, and id have too many with this toy

THE DX GGGG is bigger than the Brave Gokin GGGG and has more accurate combination but it was I think more plastic than Gokin and so it couldnt support it self in a lot of cases and it didnt have some accessories the Brave Gokin version came with. Plus I believe the DX was double the price of the Brave Gokin version. The price for this seems still quite Brave Gokin-y.

The smaller figures don't seem all that good...

I was pretty excited about it at the beginning, but not it just doesnt look good to me. He looks fragile and static. Now my dream would be to see a Max Gokin GBG from Max Factory.

At least for the moment it looks like CMs Sunrise Mecha version might be the best rendition to date.
I'm holding off from the CM version until I hear more news about its construction.

Non-transforming figures are a total waste of money.

Non-transforming figures are a total waste of money. Hmmm, this is an ever ongoing debate for robot collectors. But think of a situation like this: You could spend $40 for a cool looking Sunrise Mecha that has great articulation and details, and you know exactly what you are getting. Or you could spend $350 for a figure that doesn't look that great, has poor articulation, and is fragile because of poorly implemented gattai/ transformation. Which one would you buy? We really don't know how Baan Gaan is going to turn out. But if you wanted to have a Baan Gaan figure and these were your only two options, which one would you take? For me personally, it's the Sunrise figure without a doubt.

How much was the non-transforming GGGG selling for? Non-transforming figures are boring, you can't do anything with them except pose them... like cheap $7 GI Joe action figures. Pointless. No amount of die-cast or detailing can save a non-transforming figure for me.

No amount of die-cast or detailing can save a non-transforming figure for me. I agree that transforming is always better than non transforming generally, but not if it means a fragile, broken, or bad transforming figure. When I compare CMs transforming GGGG to the Max Factory GGGG, the CM version is poorly designed. It's very fragile and complicated, with an end result that is chunky looking and can't be moved around or played with much. As it is, the CM transforming GGGG could never have made it into the Transformers line wihtout a complete overhaul. Aqurion is another example of bad transforming that comes to mind. I guess what I'm saying is that sometimes transforming is a gamble, or maybe too complex to be done accurately. In which case I would rather have a solid, always cool Max Factory figure. I'm just hoping that CMs Baan Gaan doesn't turn out to suck.

Do you know where one could order the GBG without using Ebay?
