I'm a bit curious abt the k.o version. b'coz recently i saw the one made by Happywell (the makers of roadbots). Since the original is hard to find here in s'pore. i thought of buying the happywell versions. does anyone here know more abt the quality of these k.o.s. is it the same height as the original? any info from any of you will be very much appreciated.

I have the Happywell Choryujin pair as well as the original Takara versions. The height and dimensions are identical, the colors are different though, with black instead of grey and Enryu is a very dark blue instead of light blue. As far as differences go, the joint fit is kinda bad, with the arms in particular not locking in very securely in vehicle or Gattai mode, and the "feet" pieces liking to fall off of my Horyu KO. The locking parts for their Ladder/Crane attachments are also pretty badly formed, meaning they don't go on very easily and like to come off. Also, the chest dials don't work on the KO versions. The KOs aren't awful, definitely not for their price, but I will say that getting the KOs made me really want to get the originals (which I did, clearly). One nice thing is that the KO version (in the back) has a molded and painted chestplate, instead of the original's sticker (that you can see in Enryu's hand), which I have to say I prefer.

Thank you so much for the info Quinjester. i bought it just now on a whim. since it was dirt cheap@ only $7.00. true just like what you mentioned. But i'm quite happy with it tho (since it rather hard to find & it's better than nothing) as for the loose-fit joints & slight difference in colors, nothing like a nail polish or super glue can't fix & as for painting a few bottles of cheap tamiya paints wil certainly helps. Thank you once again bro
