I wished I was back in my college days so that I can use that Photo Studio room. No tripod and terrible lighting in the little shack I live in. Still no reason for these terrible pics. But nonetheless, here is the review I wanted to write on version 2.0, Simple Change Getter Robo 1.
Here is the box.
Love the inside of the box, with the new foam inserts. Items can still move around but I perfer this type over just bubble wrap.
Another look.
Here is the instruction sheet, in full color with some nice action shots. .
For size comparison.
Now Change Getter 1
Here is what the Getter machines looks like after transformation.

Combine Bear and Jaguar
Finally Change Getter 1
Getter Tomahawk!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Getter WIINNNNGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Another action shot
Compared to The Chogokin GT-03
GT-03 Getter 1 version of Change Getter.
Final shot is a size comparison shot of the SOC version along with the GT-03.
Again THERE IS NO DIE CAST in any Studio HalfEye Figures. I asked about this figure a couple of months ago. I stumble across this one after looking for a Aoshima Shin Getter 2. That was one of my target gokins for this years Wondercon, but there wasn't any there. Thus, I went to HLJ, and I saw this new SHE Getter. I've not seen any SHE figure for less than $100USD. And before I decide on purchasing this, I asked RJ member if they had any information on this one. Waited for a couple of days and got no response, but by that time, I have already found out more than what I need to know from other sites.
So, the first reason that I wanted to get this one was because I have a lot of Getter Robo, but none of them was a Transforming Combiner. The Soul of Chogokin GX-06 came close to being a Combiner, since they give you lots of pre-change parts to simulate the Change Getter Process. But I define transformation, as the ability to change from one from to another, and since nothing from the SOC version actually changes, I can't consider it a transforming Getter. And although I purchased the Simple Change Getter 1 first, my first SHE transforming Getter was the Perfect Change Shin Getter 1. This Simple Change Getter 1 arrived two weeks after my Shin Getter 1.
What I like about this Getter.
I like the simple transformation. Definately easy to do. I like the new updates, adding wrist articulation and ankle articulation. Comes with a Cape this time. It was a mail away offer in the first version. You can also open the cockpit on each Getter Machine. Nice but due to the size, there isn't any detailing on the pilots.
What I don't like most about this KIT/Figure.
First thing I don't like about this Getter is the way that the 3 parts connect. It's really hard to connect the Bear to the Jaguar, And even harder to combine the Eagle to the Jaguar. I guess thats because we are suppose to snap these parts together and because the figure is know to be fragile, I kinda backed off forcing things together. SO that's why I fine combining this figure hard to do. The figure also doesn't connect properly.
I also don't like the looseness on Getter Machine Jaguar's Nozzle. It came out of the box floppy and doesn't always stay in place.
Be Careful not to rub parts together during transformation. You can scratch the finish.
Overall, this is still a good little figure. It looks amazing in it's combine form. The joints are good. It's not too hard to pose although at times, parts will pop off, due to the bad connectors.
