So you need some kind of connector to join the 2... Not sure I'm into that... Will the Toynami version connect differently?

Yeah from what I've seen both use the stand as a connecting arm.

Hope the quality is better than CM's recent Mospeada Ride Armors that Josh reviewed (unfavorably) on CollectionDX. I'll wait for a review of this before purchasing.

Disapointing. Maybe I'll wait until some buyer wants to get rid of his and get it for less. Hopefully the Toynami version will connect better... because isn't that the point of the set?

Ill have to say as much as i wanted a tread iam not going to get the CM version for 2 reasons the price and the way they look when they connect together
