I bought it and I think it is quite nice. First off...it is all light plastic and pvc. The artuculation is ok....nothing to write home about. What makes up for it...... is the wonderful detail and fantastic paint job. If you want a really good looking (and nice sized) Tallgeese III, this is your baby. I ripped mine out and he is standing proudly on the shelf, next the the "Rivals" Wing Custom. Note....these figures are taller and bigger than the 1/100 scale version model kits. It is rumored that the production run on these toys are not that huge and these are Toys R'Us exclusives.

Wow, that is some jucy background to help out! I spotted them in NY for about $35 and thought it was a bit steep, but if it is limited in production......
You snooze you loose.
Too bad there is PVC in it. I really hope that Bandai has gotten better at stabilizing the plastic from sunlight and age. I turns my stomach to see toys "melt" on the shelf.
Gracias!

I just got mine last week!
It takes time for these babies to get here to PI.
Anyways, it's a wonderful toy, solid, and has an awesome paintjob (weathered too).
Though it's more meant to be posed and be looked at than be played with, definitely not for kids.

They are worth the buck , these toys are sweet, for a non-model builder like me, I think it is a great move by Bandai to do this, not so small like the MSIA and not to big like the DX MSIA, just the right size to play with .
