Just in case you have not heard, there are some amazing new releases from Bandai in the near future. Here in the States you can expect to see a 12" Shining gundam, Dragon Gundam, and Burning Gundam. They look quite excellent: www.bandai.com/products/gundam/products.cfm?as_id=80

Hey, just thought I would show a few pictures of the DX Sazabi standing next to the MG one. Wow it is one mother of a toy! and for good measure I will throw in my crappy broken 1/144 scale too! and a pic with the PG ZAKU for size reference.

Where's the next 12" Mega sized Gundam? I recall reading something about the Freedom Gundam from the SEED series supposedly being released in time for Xmas. But I still haven't seen it. I'm concerned that Gundam's popularity in the US has waned to the point that we won't see this figure domestically.

Too be quite frank, everything is pointing to no more US Bandai Gundams at all. VERY sad, however I believe this to be true from several resources. rixrobots.com/GundList.htmTo celebrate what Bandai US has done in the past, I've been slaving over taking these pix for my site-so far, ALL the US 4.5" Gundams are done. Enjoy.

ttahaj: Wow. You were reading my mind. I almost bought the MG Sazabi model several times, but I decided on, and held out for the DX MSIA version. I've always wondered how big the finished MG kit was. By the way, beautiful detailing on the model! Amuro: Keep an eye on e-bay. Just type in Sazabi, there's usually about 14 or 15 items. The DX comes up every once in a while. I waited a long time, but eventually got one brand new and unopened about a year back for somewhere around $60. I also have the DX MSIA versions of the RX93, and the Wing Gundam. These things are great. They're easy to mess with, and it takes a trained eye to tell the difference between a DX MSIA and a PG model costing three times as much. I'd love to see the Tallgeese, and the Wing Zero (not the feather one) in 12". JWM

I love the large scale Gundams. I have nearly all of them: 1/48 V Gundam, 12" Shining, Dragon, & God Gundams, RX-93, Sazabi, GP-01fb, GP-02. Now the only ones I believe I'm missing are the Freedom Gundam and the Gundam Wing Custom from Endless Waltz (not domestically released). Guess I'll have to get the Freedom Gundam as an import. I'm looking forward to the smaller Gundam GQ's.

I believe that when I got my Sazabi DX on ebay I only paid around 30 USD! That was over a year ago and there were alot of them on there at the time. I was super impressed by this toy! Amuro: Although these toys are usually listed on ebay and other places as 1/60 scale I would estimate the DX Sazabi at about 1/75 scale. I would love to have one in the 1/60 scale though, he would be HUGE! (approx 15 inches to his head) Man, I love the look of the Sazabi, very cool.

Oh thanks for the info ttahaj. I think you are right, this Sazabi looks more 1/75 scale than 1/60, when compared with the PG Zaku II. And again: awesome piece! ;D
