Before these new SOC Gundams, did any Gundam toys have diecast?
Clover had made some right? How about bandai?

There was the clover stuff, I believe the V gundam Mobile Suit in Pocket figures had diecast, though to varying degrees. Banpresto has put out some gundam stuff with diecast, i.e. the 20th aniversary 'retro style' figure, the new V and V Hexa Perfect Transformation figures, and some brick-like SD figures. There's even some diecast content in the MG Nu Gundam model.

I also have the 1/72 and 1/48 Toys from the V Gundam series. Again, metal screws only. Of course if you count the speakers and led lights which includes some soldered metal LOL. Yup! Correct again. Banpresto came up with the Action Gokin line which is about 80% metal. A think they are the nicest ones when it comes to proportion. Very sleek and lean. Not the best paintjob. You see the seams. But if you customize it like I did with my MK.II, it comes out nice. There is also the High Complete Models which they are re-issuing right now. Old school design. No Katoki here. The best one I like is the F91 1/60 Scale HCM. Very Nice and Super Cool. Anyway, just wanted to jump in and share my input. Thanks! XG

Yes, that's what I want to know too! How come Gundam was never given the die-cast treatment? Something along the SOC line?
