What the heck happened to the 12" DX Gundam toys in the US? I mean I saw the GP-01Fb for sale and then THAT was it ? ?? (I think they would be the DX 12" MSIA toys in Japan)
Have you guys/gals seen them in stores?

It seems that the DX line has been discontinued in the US. Apparently, there were way too many GP-01's and -02's, and stores failed to order the next batch, which were the Nu and Sazabi. The only store I ever saw these in was BJ's Wholesale club. BBTS also carried them. I've also heard reports that they hit a couple of Target stores in the southwest. The last batch seem to only have been carried at TRU and K-Mart, and they seem to have been gobbled up pretty quickly once they were priced at 19.99. I guess there's still some floating around out there of the Shining & Dragon, though I've not seen any around here in months. There were plans to release a DX God/Burning, but they appear to have been scrapped, along with the 12" G-Gundam pilot dolls.

It would just figure. I've seen the big Sazabi once, and I want it bad. But I haven't seen one on sale anywhere. And then again- maybe that's OK. I said I'd call the collection complete if only I could find one. As long as it's missing I can keep getting new stuff. JWM

The last DX Gundam that I heard about was the Wing Zero from Endless Waltz (the one with the bird wings and feathers). It was never released domestically -- unfortunately -- and supplies seemed to dry up quickly in Asia. I haven't seen one of these for sale in quite a long time. I got the GP 01fb and GP 02A from Big Bad Toystore. The DX Dragon Gundam I bought from Toys R Us. I got the Shining Gundam and God Gundam through auctions. There's a rarely mentioned DX MSIA, the Psycho Gundam, I got locally along with the very rare 1/48 scale Victory Gundam -- a prized possession. Additionally, there are the 1/100 scale DX ZZ Gundam and RX-178 that I've had for a while. The only DX I'm missing are the 1/100 scale Zeta and the Musha Cloth series.
