I just got these and thought I'd review them here. To start with, the Gundam F91 is probably the most intricate F91 I've ever seen besides the 1/60 scale toy/model. This F91 is much more detailed than the MS in Pocket and has more gimmicks than the models. It's only 1/100 or 1/144 scale yet features an opening/closing faceplate, moving backpack beam cannons with retractable handles, retractable shoulder fins, and great poseability (e.g., double-jointed knees and elbows). It's fully painted though not with the best paint job. Unlike most Banpresto toys, this one is made primarily of (not the highest quality) ABS plastic (not rubbery PVC) though the beam rifle is PVC. It also comes with extra hands and 2 beam sabres. The RX-78 in original Okawara colors is made of the same materials and features a fully transforming core fighter with clear canopy, folding wings, and retracting vertical stabilizer. Even with the core fighter gimmick, this figure has movement at the waist. It comes with a PVC shield, beam rifle, bazooka, and beam sabres. Poseability is decent for size (approx. 1/144). Of the two, I think I'm most pleased with the F91.

Does anyone have the RX-79 8th MS Team Special Creative Model? What is that one like?

More news about this series: The next set is the RX-78 with the G-Armor. The parts can recombine to form the G-Sky, G-Bull vehicles.
