Am I the only person who hated this series? Just curious if other folks liked it....

The only G Gundam I would get is the Mexican one or "Tequila Gundam", ands that's only because I love to drink Tequila

See now I thought the robot designs (forgetting about the show) were creative as heck...

Yeah, like the one that looks like a Jack-In-The-Box poping out of a trash can. I can't wait until that gets the Soul of a Chogokin treatment. Lol, actually some of the designs are cool, but some are HORRIBLY LAME. Bill

I thought the G Gundam series was one that wasn't meant to be taken too seriously. It definitely was not one of my favorites, but the series did allow for some extremely odd and unconventional mecha. I'll stick to the Universal Century stories. My favorites: 0079, 0080, 0083, 08th MS Team. I haven't yet seen the V or Seed Series.

Bbechtold: I agree completely. I like the Shining Gundam (Ed has put up a couple of cool pic's) but the rest of the mechas were pretty silly. I found the series itself totally unwatchable. Maybe it was intended partly as a satire on Gundam, and we just don't get the joke. Or maybe it was just terminally corny. JWM
