Usually I just post in the Brave forum, but I'm a semi-serious Gundam fan and I need some advice. I'm thinking about getting a Freedom Gundam model kit. I built the HG 1/44 and I love the design. My two choices are the MG and the 1/60. Which one do you think is best? The hardest kit I've built so far is the G-Falcon Double X, by the way.

Definatley the 1/60, if I'm not mistaken Perfect grades are made to this size.

Actually, the MG kit has more articulation and it comes w/ a cool stand to display it w/. If you're into the sheer size then pick up the 1/60. But if you are into articulation and detail, then I suggest the MG.

unless you are into size, the 1/60 Big Scale sucks. Its posability isnt that great and its out of porportion. DO yourself a favor and get the 1/100 its detailed, articiulated, and comes with a stand. the 1/60 of freedom is just a bigger 1/144.

Yeah, seeing as I'm in a dorm room, the 1/100 MG is probably the best choice. Not to mention it's pretty inexpensive.
I was also looking at other Master Grades. How are the Zeta, ZZ and Aile Strike kits?

i own the zeta and strike gundam mg. imo, the zeta is a little on the flobby side, but otherwise its pretty cool. the aile is a must get if you're a strike or seed fan. Great Posability, comes with the cool stand and extremely detailed. the prices for 1/100 and 1/60 should be aprrox. the same.

The only mg I own are G-Gundam and......Freedom ;D! It's definitely worth having.
1/60 hg usually suck.(i'm just using my 1/60 strike for reference) The details are exaggerated and really can't pose too well.
If you do want something big, don't worry cause the mg freedom will take up lots of space as a 1/60 due to the stand.
The only problem I find with the mg freedom is the waist portion. Having heavy wings, the polycap of the waist sometime makes the freedom's body lean backwards and if you're not careful, the Freedom will just split in 2. But still, it's more worth to have as it's cheaper than the 1/60 and can pose beautifully.

I also have the same problem and the MG seems to be better. The 1/60 is a little too big and the MG poses better with my other 1/100's! ;D The MG Freedom also fits with MG Aile Strike's launch pad! *drool* Which I am going to get soon!
