The last PG that I built was the Wing Zero Custom. I would like the kit much better if I had tightened the waist joints adequately when I was building it. What seemed tight enough on the torso alone proved to be too loose when you take into account the added leverage and weight of the wing pack. As it is the finished kit has good articulation and balance, but the somewhat floppy waist makes it a pain. Take it apart to fix? Forget it- too much work. There's always something with a PG kit. But on the whole none of the finished PG kits are much fun. Nonetheless I'm really tempted to go for the new PG Strike. I just keep hoping that they'll get it right and make a kit that's huge fun to build, retains the insane amount of detail, and also functions well as a toy. But anyway, here's a question: Does anyone have any of the PG kits that came after Wing Zero? I guess that's mostly the GP Gundams- Are they any improvement over the earlier kits as far as the playability of the finished piece? Thanks for any feedback. JWM

Hey, I know what you mean when you say that there is always something about the PGs. Its kind of a big pain to show of all the cool inner detail, some of the opening panels on the rx-78 and zaku tend to fall off when used (I hate to admit the problems after forking out that much cash!) But to Bandai's credit I think that they have greatly improved with each incarnation. I remember trying to show off my pg zeta to a few friends of mine. Gee it must have taken me an hour to get it transformed into the waverider mode! It was getting a little embarassing. Dont get me wrong though I still think that they are amazing! At some point I would like to post a few pics of all the Perfect Grades Standing together maybe with their mg counterparts for comparison.

I have both the GP-01 and the titans but GP-01 isnt finished and the Titans isnt started (I just got it and it was missing two important parts runners which are supposed to be on their way!) What I have finished of the GP-01 seems pretty sturdy, it is a very big, thick Gundam. I could only dream of it looking as good as the one pictured above! I want to paint mine, so I dont want to completely assemble it until I have the paint I need. I will try to post some comparison pics soon, the GP-01s legs are huge next to the Wing Zero Customs!
