I can lay the blame for this squarely on tthaj for posting that video clip of the PG Strike. Otaru Ikari must also take some responsibility for this indiscretion because he posted the link to Macross World where Black Aces posted his log of the Strike project. I was sitting around last night after having a little too much fun, and the next thing I knew I was on e-bay, and the next thing I knew after that I was clicking "Buy It Now". The model is on the way. I haven't built a PG kit for quite a while. I just hope the finished product will be as fun as the project. I'll keep y'all posted. JWM

Im sorry that Im not sorry about influencing your decision! ;D (make sense? ) I put together a MG Quell the other day and have been working on my PG Mk.II Titans for the last few days. Wow I love putting together the PGs! The engineering always astounds me! It has made the MG seem like a kiddy kit. I would love to see some progress pics of the strike and would like to know how it stands up against your other PG experiences. Hope to get mine early next year, I noticed that the prices on ebay have already dropped a bit on this kit. Hope you keep us posted.

All goofing aside, I'm really looking forward to the project. Truth to tell though, I'm not even in the same league as ttahaj or Black Aces, or gundamrx78, the other newer member who recently posted some pic's. I don't want to pretend to be an expert modeler. I'll be doing panel lines with a black marker, and maybe a spot of chrome silver here and there, but other than that, all I'm going to be doing is assembling the thing out-of-box. And yeah, I'll keep a thread going on my progress. Ttahaj just got the 'money quote' on the whole PG thing:
"The engineering always astounds me." That's what "Made in Japan" is all about. JWM
