The MMM line lives on. The Force Impulse is now out in Japan and HK!!! Anyone else looking forward to these less zincy MMMs? I hope they are as good as the Strikes but you gotta admit, they will go great with the Strike Gundams and even that god forsaken Turn A... I'm looking forward to the Sword Impulse the most. Go here for more pics!! www.tamashii.jp/etc/gqm_main.html

Yah - saw this at Toy-Wave the other day. Coolness! What did you mean by "less zinc?" The photos don't seem to indicate where the trademark endo-skeleton is (if there even is one at all). On the plus column, I gotta say, these look very playable... I love Core-Fighters. ;D Hmm... the link also seems to imply the red one should've been out first.... Unless the blue one is a typo and it meant Decemeber 200 4. Like I said, I'm in trouble...

I'm planning to pick one of these up as well. I'm most interested in the Blast Impulse variation which is expected to be released after the Force and Sword Impulse versions. Has anyone seen a review of the Force Impulse Gundam? I heard it's supposed to have significantly less metal than the previous MMM Gundams. I do like the core fighter gimmick though.

Graham of MacrossWorld fame posted a review at ToyboxDX toyboxst.inwards.com/phorum/read.php?1,113549 ...unfortunately he didn't actually dwell on the metal content so I'm still a little fuzzy on that point myself.

Yep, I read that too.
I'm disappointed that it's a hybrid between an Arch Enemy, and the original MMM, but that doesn't mean I aint getting the Sword Impulse, and the Blast Impulse.

There are some mix opinions about this one... yes it has less diecast (hipjoint, kneejoint, ankle joint, shoulder joint are the only parts that are zinc I've heard) but posability has improved... I for one am still looking forward to it. My 1/100 MMMs look lonely on my desk.
Speaking of the MMMs Strikes, I recently started handling them again after gathering dust for over a year, and I am still pretty impressed by them. I love their heft and I think they pose way better than their SOC Maz brethrens... still one of my top toys.

Okay this is getting painful. And they each cost about the same as a small SoC? Give me a freakin' break. Question for those of you who've seen Gundam Seed: how many of these variations are there?!?! (That is: "how many times is Bandai gonna screw me?")

As far as I know, only 3 variations are being released in Gundam GQ toy form: Force, Sword, and Blast. I'm only getting the Blast Impulse. Hopefully, I'll be able to get one for under $75 when people realize they don't want all 3 versions of the same Gundam. It reminds me of all the ridiculous color variations of the RX-78 Kado Senshi figures (original Okawara, Char's, white, Titans, etc.).

I think that your pics look good. Thanks for more food for thought. You said that they feel heavy right? So do you see any problems with the sword gundam? Do you have any out-of-the box pics of that one?
