Hello all I'm going to try a new como style for a mars diorama I'm attempting to build. in the short hand I need to know what kind of clear coat I can use that is thin enough to layer multiple times and still look like real and not built up on a 1/100 MG gundam type.
the long hand the camo is a silhouette break up type. involving a base of red oxide then in a large squares of a slightly lighter shade then a clear coat then in an off set pattern and still lighter/darker shade smaller squares then a clear coat then a smaller squares still more off set then another clear coat.
hard to describe but when I make samples I'll post them
thanks clifton

Very interesting. What exact models will this be for? Ed

Hello I thought I would try it on a modified Guncannon. it make more sense to do it on a mostly round armor body type, but the real test is a GM sniper that will be crouched by a outcropping of rock on the back crater wall above all the action.. if you want the details so far write back and I'll explain it in a new thread.. thanks clifton
