Ok, this is my first time wiring anything...and it was going good...until..
I got to the part where I have to connect the 4 wires to the switch and I've been trying but no luck in getting this b*tch to light up. The wiring from the bulb is right, I tested it by holding the wire to the batteries.
Anyway, I did it so that the black wires need to be at the negitive side of the battery and the grey wires to positive side. Can someone show me a picture or something on how to do this? The diagrams in the book aren't helping.

I remember this was a pain. Two black wires joined at the center tab on the switch, right? (step 55) One wire runs from the left tab of the switch to the left terminal of the battery box (step 54) The connection in step 54 where you set the wire in the socket and tighten it in with the screw is troublesome. Another thought. If the black wires are connected to the center tab of the switch try the other wire on either of the other two tabs on the switch. Hope this helps. Another thought before you go any further with this kit. Are the ball-and-socket joints on the waist tight? I thought I had mine tight enough, but I didn't take into account the extra weight and leverage of the wings. As it is mine is a great kit flawed by a floppy waist. Tighten those, and the leg and hip joints just a little tighter than you think you'll need. Good luck. JWM

Well, I went ahead and finished ahead everything else on this kit but this wiring crap.... All the joints on the kit are super tight as I sprayed all the spruces with matte coat, it made the paint cooler but some joints got so tight *like the arms* u couldn't even turn them so I had to dig out the hole with an ex-acto knife to make it bigger. Anyway, I'm going to try switching the wire on that side, hope it works. ![:(](http://lemonstre.fr/robot-japan/smileys/sad.png) Thanks for you help. ![:)](http://lemonstre.fr/robot-japan/smileys/smiley.png)

Well, I tried putting the 2 wires on the third hole in the switch, still didn't work. =/ For everyone, heres a scan of what the wiring looks like right now. Don't worry, I know the grey wires are where the black ones are. They have to be that way as when I wired the bulbs I put the grey where the black should have been on the instructions but that still shouldn't effect anything as u still wire it the same and I'm tried both bulbs by touching the wires to them. Please guys, I really need help on this. img143.exs.cx/img143/8559/untitled6tp.jpg

I'm comparing your picture to the diagram in the manual. I'm sure you've gone through this. You should have two black and two gray wires from the head, and chest lights. Join the black together and the gray together. You said that both light up OK when you try this with the batteries. With the switch facing you, you should have two wires anchored together on the right screw of the battery box. The other two wires go to the center terminal on the switch. On the left terminal of the switch is a short wire bridging to the left screw on the battery box. The right terminal is left empty. If all that checks out Look first to the screw connections. Another thing to double-check is whether the tiny spring that you set in step 54, #2 is making contact with the side of the battery. If all that checks out, and it still won't light try bridging the switch terminals with a pair of tweezers to see if the switch itself isn't bad. Givin' it one more try. JWM

Tried it, still no luck. Heres a pic of what it looks like now. img215.exs.cx/img215/3315/kjsksdnf5ux.jpgI know the left wire (the tiny one) looks like it's not attached but it is plus I took it out and tighted it more and put it back the same way, still nothing. Anyone have any ideas? ![>:(](http://lemonstre.fr/robot-japan/smileys/angry.png)

It looks like the spring on the right screw isn't making contact with the side of the battery. (still tryin') JWM

Finally got it! ;D The horror is over and the model is complete. It looks so awsome with the panel lines and the less shine because of the matte coat. Posing this guy is other story cause of the heavy wings.... ![:-/](http://lemonstre.fr/robot-japan/smileys/undecided.png)

I honestly don't know...I just took it apart and put it back together and it finally worked. Man this guy is hard to pose though, he just wont stand up in most poses...but i finally got him in a nice pose where he can stand up without leaning against anything and he looks AWSOME. Next I think I'll watch the endless waltz movie to celebrate. ;D ![8-)](http://lemonstre.fr/robot-japan/smileys/cool.png)

Yeah, posing the WZC is a pain. Mostly it's a balancing act with the position of the wings. It is a cool display piece though. Let's see some pic's. JWM

I'm one of those kinda guys who likes to show off everything about a figure or a model or anything really I dipslay. I try to include all the weapons and parts and little features all at once.
For my wing Zero I have it him a pose where he's holding his combined buster rifle in 1 hand, a beam saber in the other, 1 beam saber in the right wing, both machine guns popped up and ready. I think it looks totally bad ass.
As for the paint, I didn't paint over the base color with newer ones. All I did was spray all 29 or 30 spruces except the one with the soft grey rubber parts with a clear matte finish. I did the panel lines however before the matte finish as it's much easier to do and or correct mistakes.
I wish I could show a picture as I think this model turned out damn great but I don't have a cam. =/
