Hello again, I know I'm asking a lot of stuff lately, please bear with my newbiness ![:-[](http://lemonstre.fr/robot-japan/smileys/embarassed.png) I've seen a couple of red astray gunpla out there, a 1/144 HG, and a 1/100 with doesn't seem to be a MG... I like the red astray's design a lot... my question is if the 1/100 is more detailed than the 1/144, if it's the same kit scaled up, etc... which one would be best to buy? :-) Thanks ![;)](http://lemonstre.fr/robot-japan/smileys/wink.png)

the 1/100's are scaled up 1/144's and are usually better.

I've noticed that some of the newer Gundam Seed small scale models (1/144) have been "dumbed down" with fewer parts and poorer articulation (e.g., the absence of elbow joints) for very limited poseability. They've REALLY made these for newbies.

I can't say much about the 144 scale as I don't have one, but the 100 scale is sure nice. A bit more painting to do compared to a MG kit to get it all in the right colours like the pictures. I am currently building one but don't have much time to spend on it so won't finish till prob in a month or two. I think the 100 scale should be more articulate than the 144. Also with 144 you may have to do more painting than the 100 scale as that what I noticed when I built a 144 Wing Custom Zero. But that a different kit and the 144 Astray may be better.
