hi everyone! im new to the forum and modeling gundams or acutally modeling as a whole. I was just wondering how to fix the little white squares on the parts after you cut them off of a tree. i bought my first gundam and i used pliers and a nail clipper to even it up but it leaves those ugly white squares ![:(](http://lemonstre.fr/robot-japan/smileys/sad.png) . also i wanted to ask when you paint the gundam, what parts are you supposed to detail? anyways any help would be great! ![:)](http://lemonstre.fr/robot-japan/smileys/smiley.png)

Start checking through the threads on this board, and click on anything that has to do with modeling. You'll learn a lot. There are several discussions going on about sprue cutters, panel lines, painting, detailing and building in general. Browse around and enjoy. ![8-)](http://lemonstre.fr/robot-japan/smileys/cool.png) JWM

a bit of love...a bit of sweat ![:)](http://lemonstre.fr/robot-japan/smileys/smiley.png) .. no seriously. to get it looking clean, you will have to clip it as close as you can with the sprue cutter, then sand it off with a modelling grade sandpaper...or just use a very fine grade sandpaper from your local hardware.. Just watch how much force you use on the piece. You dont want to distort the seam too much! hope it helps.
