Just wondering... I've been searching for a review everywhere, and it was the only PG I haven't found a review of. I've only found some pictures in a forum, but no descriptions or reviews... just the HLJ one ![:-/](http://lemonstre.fr/robot-japan/smileys/undecided.png) Since this is the biggest PG yet (more than 1200 parts!), and it's quite expensive (like the Zeta, I think), I'm very interested to know more about it... if anyone has one, please share his thoughts ![;)](http://lemonstre.fr/robot-japan/smileys/wink.png) Thanks

It wasn't me. Someone did post some incredible pics of a GP01 a while back. I went looking through the older posts but couldn't find it. JWM

My PGs: The silver coated legs belong to the PG RX-178 titans that I am currently working on. The RX-78 is getting some things done to it also- I actually broke the peg off that connects the shoulder to the upper arm a couple of days ago because the joints were too tight. I was pretty mad, but I managed to rebuild it with epoxy and it now seems pretty sturdy. ![](http://img18.exs.cx/img18/9596/pggang5tp.jpg) As you can see I get too excited to wait and have to start the kits soon after getting them, so that is why all of them are started and most of them are not finished!! This next one is kind of dark but I piled the remaining part sprues on a PG RX-78-2 box, they wouldnt be able to fit inside! There are alot of parts left still! ![](http://img18.exs.cx/img18/4695/pggp01andparts7an.jpg)

did you build the gp01's hanger thing yet?

Im afraid that the hanger is still in pieces in the pile behind it. It is all thick ABS plastic so I imagine that it will be quite heavy and very strong.

ttahaj: Thanks for those links! That is some incredible work. How is the GP01 for posing, and balance? Is it close to the Strike, or down there with the old RX78/2? JWM

Agh, my bad. For some reason (and may this be a lesson never to post at night!) I thought you meant the strike. Sorry 'bout that.
Thanks's for the zeta links guys!

Amazing liks, thank you! ![;)](http://lemonstre.fr/robot-japan/smileys/wink.png) I'm also interested on knowing GP01's poseability... And since you seem to have most or all of them, which one is the best PG for you?

The person(s) from Korea (?) did an absolutely amazing job with the painting details! Realistic metallized look to the interior parts. Wow. The PG GP01 looks pretty impressive. I just wish the core fighter had retractable landing gear--something that could be easily accomplished at 1/60 scale I would think.

Mudrock: Here are the pieces that make up the Hangar, there are two of each sheet. ![](http://img214.echo.cx/img214/5238/hangarpieces14jv.jpg) ![](http://img214.echo.cx/img214/5168/hangarpieces29kd.jpg) For jwm and Bleen: Some photos to show its balance and posability. I dont have the strike to compare it to but looking at pictures of it posed I would say that it is slightly more poseable than the GP01. The PG version of the GP01 definately is not as sleek and compact as the Strike. It is quite a thick and bulky gundam. I was impressed at what I could do with it though, even though it is so big and heavy. It seems very sturdy. There is not alot of movement for its head - you cant really make it look up. Its arms are like most of the PGs, very posable. Quite posable at the hips but its upper leg can only move to about 90 degree angle to the torso. Lots of movement at the ankle. The Full Burner leg armor impedes movement from side to side but doesnt seem to hinder ankle movement from front to back. Not much movement at the waist but remember that there is a core fighter in there. ![](http://img214.echo.cx/img214/6238/pggp01grabbingbeamsaber4hz.jpg) ![](http://img214.echo.cx/img214/569/pggp01kneeling1uy.jpg) ![](http://img214.echo.cx/img214/4121/pggp01withguns3se.jpg) This is about as wide as its legs would go and notice that the left foot is flat while the side with the full burner armor is lifted a bit. ![](http://img214.echo.cx/img214/2419/pggp01widestance5hh.jpg) As you can see it balanced quite well even on only one foot. img214.echo.cx/img214/7127/pggp01balancingon1leg7or.jpg[/img]![](http://img214.echo.cx/img214/4325/pggp01kicking6fp.jpg) When I first set it down it balanced even with this awefull backwards lean. ![](http://img68.echo.cx/img68/9681/pggp01leaningback9vz.jpg) Well I hope I helped answer some questions about this guy. Need anymore details just let me know. Ttahaj

Wow! Thanks a lot! ;D ;D ;D One last question on the GP01. Can you switch the different armor sets back and forth on the frame, or are you committed to building either the 01 version or the 01FB? less than one minute after posting: upon closer examination of pictures: DOH! ![???](http://lemonstre.fr/robot-japan/smileys/huh.png) JWM always there with a dumb question when you need one

![:o](http://lemonstre.fr/robot-japan/smileys/shocked.png) cool ![:o](http://lemonstre.fr/robot-japan/smileys/shocked.png) thanks for the pics! Exactly what I wanted to see ![;)](http://lemonstre.fr/robot-japan/smileys/wink.png) Indeed this one seems bulky and sturdy... ![8-)](http://lemonstre.fr/robot-japan/smileys/cool.png) it contrasts quite well with the Strike... now I'm debating wheather I should go for this one, the MKII or the Zeta after I finish with my next MG batch... decisions... decisions... Thanks again for the pics ![;)](http://lemonstre.fr/robot-japan/smileys/wink.png)

jwm: thought that you might like to see how it works! Mudrock and ttahaj: Thanks a lot! Except that you two are now responsible for the damage that the GP01 is going to do to my checking account, not to mention the utter devastation it's going to reek on my already strained shelf space. ![;)](http://lemonstre.fr/robot-japan/smileys/wink.png) It's not going to happen anytime soon, but now that thing is definitely on my list.
