I am into GFF and GQ or mmm series. I have all the GQ or MMM figures except GQ Blast Impulse Gudam. As for GFF, I have GFF figures from No.1 to No. 25 except No. 24 Hyaku Shikki. Among them, my favourite GFFs are Wing Gundam ver Ka (nice painting and good articulation), Ex-S Gundam (tall and beautiful sculpt) , Deep Striker (cool, huge, heavy and many gimmicks). The lousiest ones are GP03 (terrible painting), F91 (limited articulation), Perfect Gundam (nice colour but very limited articulation) and Zeta Plus (poor transformation with too many detachment and attachment of parts and limited articulation). I have high expectation of GFF Gundam RX-72 ver Ka. It'd better be impressive and has more and better articulation like Wing Gundam ver Ka. I wonder if Wing Gundam Zero Custom (Endless Waltz version) will be released in this year's GFF as I have long been waiting for this one!

The Blast Impulse MMM GQ Gundam is fantastic! One of my favorite Gundam figures out there. How's the Sword Impulse Gundam. I just wish there was as much variety with this line as there is with the GFF line. So far it's all Seed stuff.

I agree Bandai has done well in this GQ or MMM line and the product name truly speaks of itself. Both of my GQ Sword and Force Impulse Gundams are equally fantastic exactly like how you decribed your Blast Impulse Gundam. However, I would like to make two little comments about GQ figures:
1) Their design are not as detailed as GFF figures. 2) GQ's texture are rather toy-like and lack of weathering look.
When Bandai had produced Strike Gundam in this line (which was just called MMM initially) two years ago, I was hoping they would produce Freedom Gundam next (as it was and is still one of the most popular gundams.) but then, it didn't come to reality.. I truly hope Freedom Gundam will be the next launching figure in this renaming line so-called GQ. I believe many will go for it and it will be sold out like a hot cake!

I'd be happy to see a MMM GQ version of Freedom Gundam as well since it appears that the DX 12" figure of Freedom Gundam was cancelled. MMM GQ is as deluxe as they come now. I also don't mind the smaller size (1/100) because of storage space considerations.

I have read Destiny Gundam, the new mecha pilot by Shinn Asuka in at the next half of the Seed Destiny series. I don't really like this new design of mecha and it is not that impressive so to speak. It is obvious that Destiny gundam has shared relatively similar design in term of appearance and weaponry systems with the following famous gundams from other series:
1) Face - Gundam Mudrock RX78-6 2) Beam sword, boomerangs and launcher - Strike Gundam 3) Palm beam cannon - inspiration from God Gundam 4) Butterfly-shaped Beam (??) Wings - inspiration from Turn A Gundam 5) Colour allocation - Impulse Gundam
I wonder if Mr. Kunio has run out of new ideas for creating Destiny Gundam. it seems that he just recycled his old ideas. Comeon, Mr. Kunio, I believe you could do something better than that!

I reckon Freedom is more like a derivative of Wing Zero Custom (ie. twin buster rifle and the pose in OP) and Double X (ie. plasma beam cannons mounted over the shoulder and beam sabers stored on hips).
Say to say Freedom only plays a supporting role in the Seed Destiny, on the other hand, I am glad that Mr. Kunio doesn't downgrade the combat ability of Freedom in the show and still remain its powerful feature but with better combat skills (I suppose Kira has become more experienced in piloting Fredom after the previous war).
By the way, I wonder if Destiny's power surpasses Strike Freedom?
