I have seen the unpainted sculpt of Freedom. I was disappointed with its wings which seem to be shorter and smaller than I expected. I expect it will have long and wide wings and can open its wings wide while the plasma bean cannons, which are stored in its wings, are mounted over shoulders, just like MG version Freedom. I truly hope Bandai has taken note of that and make the adjustment on the wings and improved articulation (unlike CR Force Impulse Gundam please) before their launching at the end of June.
By the way, if anyone out there has seen Cosmic Region Freedom in fully-painted style, please share the pic please.

So sad that no one give a comment about this. Obviously, either you don't collect Cosmic Region or GFF or you don't like Freedom at all. Anyway, I wonder if the techniques of dual mode will be adopted in this cosmic region line like GFF.

I wish we could see a pic also. I hope they fix the wings too, because I really like the big oversized wings in the anime. Why was everyone so down on Cosmic Region 0001? I don't have it because I really did not like the design too much, but I thought it looked good anyway.

Listen, just because no-one responds to your topic ASAP doesn't mean that we don't collect them or aren't interested in Freedom. For those who collect GFF, this Cosmic era line is new so not everyone is into it. Just because we don't have any input for the topic in two days, that doesn't mean we aren't interested in it. It just means those who read it just don't have anything to add to it. I've made plenty of topics that no-one has responded to but I know people have at least read it because of the "view" counter. Two days is not very long, especially for a thread asking for newly released data.

I have Cosmic Region version Force Impulse Gundam. In fact I bought two (why?). Well, when I bought the first one from HLJ thru internet, I was disappointed to noted that the red paint surrounding its eyes slightly spilt over the white area which causes its facial appreance look some kind funny. So, I took a risk to order another one thru internet again and thank goodness, the second one I got is perfectly fine. Generally, the figure presentation looks good but poor articulation especially head and waist (I still can bear with that). Moreover, This feature does not include the pair of knives and also is not designed in the way that they can be stored inside the side plates attached to its hips as seen in the anime.

I honestly can't understand why a lack of knives would dissapoint. Seems kinda silly and trivial to me. I personally don't really care for tiny weapons such as those. If you're close enough to use knives you're too close as it is for any weapon.

You're right, there's no real point to a knife with Gundams (esp. when you have more powerful beam sabres that take roughly the same space); looks-wise though, I dig the Strikes w/dual schneiders and no backpack.

Gentlemen, thanks for your comments. Regarding what I commented on Cosmic Region version Force Impulse, allow me to address this again: I was just disappointed about the painting problem. Regarding the issue of knives, I was just presenting a true fact. But, I believe there are some people out there wanting to pose the Impulse with knives held in its hands.

Bazookafield, since you had noticed the sculpt of RX78-2 ver ka at the show, I wonder if you noticed the prototyped Freedom as well.

I agree that tiny knives for Gundams is just plain silly. What do the Gundams do with them in the series--throw them?

No. Those knives, which are used by Strike and Impulse Gundams, are just spare weapons and designed for close combat. the knives are the weapons attached with them all the times. In the first episode of Seed series, I think the knives saved Strike's life as they were used by Strike when it was attacked by intruders for the very first time.

Yeah, that pilot somehow took down a GINN who had a big sword and the Strike just had those tiny knives. I understand if the PS Armor made the big sword of the GINN worthless to use, but a GINN getting beat by little swiss-army knives?

Are you sure it was me to post the message about GOUF? But I am pretty sure I have never posted anything about GOUF simply because I am only interested in anything about Gundam but not Zaku or Gouf.

I said GOUF as in Gundam Official User Forums. Not the MS.

The CR Freedom actually looks pretty nice, save for the noticeable mold lines of the side beam cannons and the somewhat-short wings. On a side note, the pic of the Penelope in front of the completed Gundam ver. Ka. has shown me how freaking massive the Penelope is. Despite my general dislike for the Fix line (had a bad experience with my Zeta Red Hummingbird), I have to pick up the Xi/Penelope.

The Zeta Plus FIX sets weren't that great as they were too fragile to do much of anything with. Don't let those discourage you from FIX.

Extremely good paint job, love them, but very fragile, i had to super glue the full Zeta Plus Wave Rider. But it still looks good :-)
