Its not "official" as far as I know, but just an extra in the PG kit.

wow ur strike's eyes are pretty bright even in the light. I can't even see mine in the light at all, only at night. And are the decals worth putting on? Man that skygrasper is so nice, i can't wait for mine, been waiting for 2 months but the site had problems now i have to get it from another site, 2 month wait for nothing!

While I hate the fact that they took the opportunity in Seed to basically just do a remake the original UC story line (well it starts out that way anyhow), I do like the Strike a lot. It's a very modernized look for what essentially amounts to the original RX79 design. And the PG version kinda makes it look a bit like an SIC revamp. It's cool - I might get this if I have the chance...

Ben-Ohki, I really don't think the Strike gundam is essentially like the RX-79 (the ground gundam). I assume you mean the rx-78-2, but I don't really think they're very similar either.

They have almost nothing in common design-wise except the basic tricolor color scheme and being gundams.
