Hi all. I was just wondering if anyone had the Zeta figure in this line, and if so how is it? Are they better than the Fix line, or just different? All opions would be appreciated.
I'm wondering because i just purchased the regular version for $30.00 shipped, and the limited titans version for $50.00 shipped. Those good prices?

I have the limited Kahen Senshi Titans and Green Divers Versions. Those prices are OK.
The figures themselves are kind of fiddly and have very little die cast. Not nearly as poseable or stable as the Kado Senshi figures. To date, I have been unable to successfully transform any of my KS Zeta's to Waverider mode (then again, I can't figure out that Yamato Escaflowne either, so your YMMV...) I don't have the GFF version, but that one looks like it has a lot more detail than the KS figures. Got mine for cheap, though, so they're ok by me. I guess, that's the key here: if you don't pay too much for them and don't expect much either, you'll be satisfied with what you get.

I have the normal Z gundam KS ....I like it ....Think of it as a "refined" version of the old HCM version release...but tighter and transforms smoother with very minimal die-cast but more than the HCM go for the ZZ gundam KS much better

I have the Kahen Senshi Zeta. Just standing still it's a great looking little piece. But it doesn't pose well, it has very little metal, and the transformation into Waverider mode is kind of a pain. Waverider mode is floppy, and doesn't look all that great either. Actually it's a good candidate for my least favorite figure. If you just want a great looking 1/144 Zeta, it's a good piece. As soon as you start messing with it the flaws become apparent.

the nicest of all the 1/144 Gundam diecast is the rare hyaku shiki. the zeta is ok but i do not like the details and proportions on it, i would rather have the GFF version on my shelf.

Since we're going OT on the Hyaku Shiki, I'll chime in since I just got done messing with mine. Yeah, it really is a great little figure. One foot poses, high kicks, kneeling, comic book style action and fighting stances- that little gold gundam does it all. Too bad the Zeta doesn't work that well. But the Zeta is a complicated and finicky transformation in whatever incarnation you find it. From the MG models, to the PG model to the Kahen Senshi (I don't know about the FIXX editions) the Zeta is just an awkward design. Too bad it looks so cool.

Thanks for all of the info guys. I don't plan to play with them much, more for display in a case, so hopefully they will work out for me.
Pricing was 19.99 for the standard and 39.99 for the Ltd Titans Version. Combined shipping was only 9.95. Do you guys think that I paid to much? I saw the buy it now, and kinda of jumped on them....just wanna get your guys thoughts

Now for twenty bucks, the Zeta is a great deal! As I said, it has its flaws but it's a great looking piece, and for that price it's a steal. Forty is about what I paid for mine. So with shipping and everything your buy comes to about thirty five bucks a piece for the two figures- not bad at all.

I love the ZZ and the Hyaku shiki as well. Those are worth getting for sure if you can find them now. I haven't really tried to transform the Zeta. I agree that $20 for it is a great price.

Looks like they will ship out on Monday, so I should get them by the end of the week. I'll post pics as soon as I get a chance.
Did everyone get a chance to see the pics of my collection in the collection section? If you haven't please check it out and let me know what you think.
Thanks all, Qball

After reading so many glowing reviews, I finally got around to guying the Kahen Senshi ZZ Gundam. Was never thrilled by the design, but all the praises sung about this piece and the budding completist in me finally won me over. Now all I'm lacking from the Kadou/Kahen Senshi lines are Char's Zaku (already ordered! ), the anime-colored Zeta Gundam and the ridiculously rare and expensive RX-78-2 repaints. ;D

I own all the kahen senshi models, which are three versions of Z gundam (normal, titans and green divers), the ZZ gundam and the hyaku shiki. They are all nice, but the hyaku shiki is a level higher...a lot of diacast and great posability.

yes, I agree the Hyaku Shiki is the best of the lot followed closely by the ZZ gundam as for the rest of the line? there pretty much on the same level. I do have one version for each release and like them For the Z gundam I have the normal version but wish I got the green driver as it looks much cooler may get it someday.

Hate to nitpick, but the Hyaku Shiki isn't part of the Kahen Senshi line. It's considered part of the original non-transforming Kado Senshi line. ;D

chet: you can be right, since kahen means "transformable" and the hyaku is NOT transformable...but I heard many voices about it being part of the kahen instead of the kado line...oh, well
