Why's the Hyaku Red??? I've been wanting the Zeta Extra finish for a while now. Is it just the white that's metalllic or everything? The blue doesn't look very metallic.

*Growls* i wanted that Red Shiki.
all those either are special edition or were avalible at conventions.
the problem though is you have to keep the thing in a clean/temperate area or it will corrode.

they can be a good gundam fix, any comments from the dudes who got them already? Hi Manny, I actually have all of those, except for the Hyaku-Shiki regular version. I haven't had the chance to put them together yet. But I agree with you, I don't paint my models, so all the metallic/crystal editions look great! I just got the Red Hyaku Shiki for my birthday. Thanks for the pic, it looks GREAT! Oh, there is also a pearlized White Quebley HG version also. Also, if you like those, you should check into the crystal editions from the Zeta Movie Line. They look great also. There is the Z, Hyaku Shiki, and RX-178. Since I don't have them built, I have pictures of the boxes if you would like to see them. Just let me know and I can post them. Wow the 4 Zeta ones look awsome! Qball

Let me know, Qball IF you would. I'm suprised one can be found in the U.S. of all places. One would think the coating and specials would all be in Japan.

Mudrock,
Check your PM bro, I just sent you the link to purchase the Hyaku-shiki. This is the same place that mine came from, so you can trust them. Oh, I think it comes out to be a little more than $40.00 after shipping.

dudes, got this set today (for $54): (pic borrowed from dalong.net) about the corroding thing, we talked about it in another forum and a member suggested of spraying the plated gundams with a gloss top or clear coat. to protect the metal finish from corroding. what do you think guys? well i think it's time to experiment, i'll keep you updated with my success or with my misery

GM: tnx for the concern bro. yeah i'll test first the top coat on the plated sprues and sprue of the polycaps, to be sure. i hope the topcoat would work well and will have positive results. i really like these plated gundams
