I'd bought this EMIA Freedom (indeed my first EMIA) two months ago but never taken picture of it for some reason.. But last week, I felt inspired to take one picture of it as follows: The inspiration was actually from one of the scenes of Superman Returns movie whereby Superman free fell onto the earth after removing the big stones. Freedom in HiMAT mode

Can you comment on the quality of construction of the EMSiA Freedom? What's it made of? I'm thinking about getting it along with the Justice. Thanks.

Can you comment on the quality of construction of the EMSiA Freedom? What's it made of? I'm thinking about getting it along with the Justice. Thanks. Design aspect: This EMSiA Freedom is better looking, taller and sleeker than its MIA and Advanced MIA versions. Quality aspect: If you are familiar with MIA figure, you shall know what it is made of. ie. rubber and PVC (Wings). Paint job are pretty average. Problem: EMSiA Freedom cannot stand still on the ground by itself because of the weight of its long wings. Therefore, Display stand is needed to hold it. Articulation aspect: EMSiA has the greatest poseability among Gundam action figures. the design of its shoulders joints includes the technology of MG, ie. wider movement. Furthermore, its joints are much sturdier than MIA and HCM Pro. Hope this is helpful for your decision-making. Any other query, you are always welcomed.

Thanks for the reply and the pix. I don't have any EMSiA yet so the Freedom and the Justice are likely to be the first for me even though I'm no fan of PVC.

Although the EMSIA Freedom is pretty righteous, I think the BEST Freedom rendition "finished product" you can get is the FIX version @ an accurate 1/144 scaled.
I got the EMSIA version and was not satisfied of its height and lack of display stand, so I decided to get the FIX version. The only thing the EMSIA has above the FIX is its articulation and price.
actually maybe my eyes are playing games with me but I find the paint job on the EMSIA is "cleaner" than the FIX I like it better.
