Have any of you guys bought one of these? They seem to be HK unlicensed stuff and my experience with that has not been very favorable. However, they look tight int he magazines specially with the lights, thinking of getting an MZN-100 myself, but let me know what you guys think. Here's a pic for reference:

Come on? No one knows about these things in RJ? I refuse to believe that! Hi Garret! I know that man ;D ! I saw one from my manager, IT IS VERY COOL! The details, lighting, everything! He bought the finished resin kit (1/35 Hi NU Gundam head) and very nicely done! But too expensive though. Very nice to display it. vic01

Hey vic, so do you have to put it together? Yup, you have to build it, and you are the one who will paint and detail it. You even have reference pics too. My manager got his, fully assembled, painted and very nice finish. But it will costs you more, $195 is the price for the finished kit and the unassembled is $115. Lights up too, the visors/eyes and the main camera. Cool though! vic01

I think $80 is a good price to have someone do the work for you, especially if they do a nice job. Since I can mess this up on my own for free! LOL Then there's the satisfaction of building one and saying I built that! Look at what I did!

I know these are 1/35 scale, but how big are these Gundam busts in inches?

I'm guessing they are a bit on the smaller side. Maybe 5-8 inches in height? If the 1/12 Scale is human-sized these would be a little less than half of that. Only problem I have with these is that it is not a Bandai licensed product, ASAIK. I think they are one of the many unlicensed stuff that come out of HK, usually they have QC and material issues. But it seems that many of you say they are ok.

Got mine in today. I will post pics later. It is a recast. ZI have never messed with resin kits before, so I may not be the best to judge it quality. I have heard of having to clean up resin kits. The box was smaller than I expected. It looks like it might be a little larger than my prime bust.
It looks pretty clean. It look likes it needs some clean up on some of the edges and pegs. Not like its a lot of work, but it will need some.

Here are a couple of shots. The one is large so you can get a closer look at the contents.

That company is starting to offer recasts of larger scale full figures from g-system. If they can make them cheap enough I might get one.

Paint and finish. It might almost worth buying a finished kit from g-system. For the size though, thats a lot of cash.

Yeah, I agree, not to mention the priceless reward when you build it yourself, of course that is if you can't....LOL Then it is worth the money to have some "expert" do it.
