What do you all think about this kit? Any suggestions before I assemble this baby? Does anyone have any reviews on this particular series? Thanks in advance.

Funny you should ask. Here is the review that I did on the HY2M kit. *Read this review before you begin!* This kit can be either a triumph or a disaster. Unfortunately the road to triumph depends on how deft you are with a pin-point soldering iron. I did not solder. Mine is a major PIA. I have to run. More Later. JWM

I have written about some of this stuff before , but I couldn't remember where. So here are a few notes on the kit after having built and owned it. 1) Before you build, take a sample of the wire to an electronics shop and buy a spool of each color. If you can find such a thing, get a length of double wire (red & black joined) in the proper guage for the legs. The pre-cut pieces are almost all too short. Cut your own lengths and trim the excess. 2) As I mentioned earlier, soldering the connections is a must. Those crimp bead and twist connectors are just not dependable. Same with the LED's fitting into the contact plates. Tension alone won't keep the connections tight. 3) You will find a poor fit where the upper torso halves join to hold the circuit box and the head in place. Some careful trimming of parts may solve this. 4) While you're at the electronics store buy a spare switch or two. The installation of the switches is very touchy. Crank down on them, and they will crumble. Finally. Properly built, the Dom is an awesome piece. Especially if you want a fleet of 1/60 Zeon suits. But displaying it is a problem. You worked hard to install all those lights. Now try to find a way to show them off. JWM
