GFF seems popular enough for Bandai to keep cranking out more figures for the line and even expand to Zeonography and Cosmic Region spinoffs. You can get figures in this line that you won't find anywhere else. I suppose the two-for-one idea of getting components in the same box to create a variation helps. GFF figures are really display figures that are not designed for play. As such, they are usually not all that well articulated and don't feature the gimmicks (e.g., opening hatches) you might find in a more play-oriented figure like the HCM Pros. They are also made of rubbery PVC material that's prone to bending. The material used is a real problem in my eyes so much so that I've stopped collecting GFF. Despite the ok paint jobs with lots of tampo printing details, the material makes GFF feel cheap. However, if you just plan to display them you might be happy with them.

I don't play with my toys, so focus on displayability. From that perspective, the FIX, Zeonography and Cosmic Region lines are great!
As for popularity, Bandai has released about 60 different sets across these 3 lines over the last 6 years, and show no sign of stopping. That's roughly one per month, on average. So I'd say they sell well enough.

Yeah, and the older ones are being reissued with improved articulation.

The GFF figures look good, but the PVC is a turnoff. Soft plastic is OK for a cheap carded figure- I have all the Gundam Wing 4 1/2", and they're decent for inexpensive toys. But If I'm going to kick out money for a shelf piece I at least want ABS (hard plastic), if not metal.
