If a melee robot was invented, i don't think it'd be that thin, and I disagree with the coolness of seed, it's just a soap opera , a bad soap with bad giant robots. Thios series seems really bad.

Well I have to admit that there are really boring and needles episodes in SEED, but again overall I liked it because of some reality checks the plot delivers. And beyond that, as a kit collector, I really like to see my favorite kits animated and in action.
Perhaps this is the reason why I like the SEED series. And again this is what I feel with 00 because of the same reason of seeing mobile suits in action. Storywise, I have yet to comment on that, since I only have an overview of it.

Thanks for the link, Heer0san!
I think I saw at least one Haro in the opening... I guess it has become as much a part of Gundam iconography as the mobile suits themselves. I look forward to seeing the series!
A quick question- Do you think this show will have any ties to U.C. continuity, or will it be another Alternate Universe series?

Just checked out episode 1. It looks promising; while embracing the traits that help define most of the previous non-UC Gundam shows, it manages to present them in a refreshingly different light. For example; we have a team of specialized Gundam Units, complicated political relationships, and a technological aesthetic that reminds me of the tech in other Gundam shows. But unlike the previous few Gundam shows, this one feels more closely related to the events and attitudes of today's real world. The opening scene in particular strikes me as something that could happen in certain real, politically-charged areas of the earth in the not-so-distant future. I also like the irony of the Celestial Being organization's goal: To declare war on warfare. I look forward to the next episode.

The transforming mobile suit would be the Kyrios. The HCM Pro of it is scheduled for release next month.

I'm withholding judgement at the moment.
It almost seems like they are pairing the new 00 series with some of the events that happened in Zone of the Enders with the whole orbital elevator bits. In general though, I am liking the suits, other than the fart thrusters on Dynames. (green sniper suit) Kyrios is cool, though Most of these guys I don't think will get upgrades or cool backpacks because of the Minobsky particle thrusters directly on their backs.

Watched it too. btw, one of the gundams, I don't remember it's name looked a lot like Z when it was transformed... well at least to me I agree. There seems to be a Zeta analogue in a lot of Gundam stories- the Airmaster in Gundam-X, the transforming flying suits in Seed Destiny, the Wing Gundam, and now the Kyrios. There are of course a lot of other transforming flight-type MS in Gundam, but these all remind me strongly of the Zeta.
