I just bought the Metal Material Model Strike Gundam. While I like it, I was wondering, does anyone know if this toy yellows? I heard the later Impulse gundams yellowed, and I was wondering if this toy shared that flaw. Thanks,

I have one. It is three or four years old and it is yet white. Always in a closed library with doors of glass, protected from dust.
One of my best figures.
Best regards,

I have both the Metal Model Material Gundams, and they are pristine and beautiful. However, all three of the MMMGQ Gundams that were released a few years after have all turned yellow. They were all displayed on the same shelf, in low-light conditions, with zero play.
So no worries for you! You got yourself a quality figure there.

I have the MMM Sword / Launch Strike that comes with the Skygrasper. The figure itself will not yellow of course, since it's molded in light blue plastic, but some white parts on the Skygrasper has shown some yellowing.

I have both figures, active Strike Gundam and deactive Strike Gundam and I still don't know why Bandai did not continue with that line of products.
This figures are of great quality, much more quality than MMMGQ figures.
I was awaiting for a red Gundam, one of the robots piloted by Asran Zara in the series, but Bandai never did it.
Maybe my wishes will come true with the new Metal Composite line.
Best regards,

Agreed with DebiraX1. The two MMM Gundams were the closest thing to Gundam SOCs. Beautiful to behold AND hold. Pure metal happiness.
There are almost no collectible-grade Gundam toys out there...a lot of plastic Gundam crack, but I need something more! The Metal Composite FIX are doing a decent job, but only if they start releasing something other than RX-78-2 repaints. Even so, in my mind, they don't have the same diecast feel as the MMM's. Shame.

agreed. only Strike , Impulse, and Turn A are in MMM series, they could have made more because this is a very good diecast gundam series. excellent designs, material and finish. bandai maintains too much toylines that they missed out on the really good ones. same thing happened in the kado/kahen senshi, arch-enemies and DX series.

Impulse Gundam in MMM line?? Any pics or links to see this? Here are a couple pics from my collection. This first pick has the Metal Grade Gundam, and the second pick has all of the MMM & MMM GQ series.

I keep them in a room where there is some natural sunlight that comes through, but the inside lights are off most of the time. We'll see how they look in another year .

My MMM GQ was kept inside a box wrapped in newspaper for at least half a year (not light or sunlight whatsoever) before I noticed that it has turned yellow...
