Hey guys,
I recently bought the Gundam Collection 1/400 Ptolemaios. I will post pictures when I finish detailing, this thing is pre-painted and looks very cool (also I wish they included a dynames with the replacement leg to replace the scene where Lockon and Setsuna are protecting the ship).
Here's to hoping ships are just as fun and cool as Gundams :-)

I look forward to the pix and your review. The pre-release pix of this looked pretty good.

Hello guys, I have included pictures of the 1/400 Gundam Collection Ptolemaios, Celestial Being's flagship in Gundam 00. This is more of a model than a figure, although many of the major pieces are not attached to runners, in addition the model was painted. I only purchase figures or painted kits due to time constraints. The ship itself is very big, easily the biggest Gundam I own and approximately 6 inches longer than the Gundam Fix 0034 Gpo3. The paint job is very good, I didn't detail it with Gundam markers only because the box art didn't and usually the box art represents the best version of the model. It also comes with 4 Gundam collection Gundams (Exia, Dynames, Kyrios, Virtue). The detail isn't great from close up but within the scale of the ship, these figures look very good :-) The of the cool features is being able to rotate the containers like in the anime. You can also load the figure from the top like in the anime, so you can see the figure being loaded which is a nice feature. Also, the shp can be posed either to be in flight or mobile suits taking off, like I have posed with the Kyrios and Exia. If you are looking at the ship from above, you can pose the ship so that Overall it took me about 1.5 days (I'm slow) to build and cost $125 (pickup). The value is pretty good, considering the trade off is 3 Gundam Fix's or 5 HCM Pro's. The only gripe I have are the parts molded in one color and painted over with another color. This is problematic because when you cut the pieces off a tree, the molded color leaves a mark that is different from the paint job. Thankfully, its only slightly noticable in a few spots, 95% percent of the time you can't see these. Overall, its a good buy if you are a fan of Gundam 00. If not, and you aren't into ships, I wouldn't go for it.
