Hey guys,
Something that never gets discussed really is how to display a gundam or mecha/ robot collection. A lot of us here have more than just a few mecha and I think there is an underlying skill in displaying. I know I have learned over time the best way to display my gundam collection, starting with having 5 gundams while sharing a dorm freshman year with a messy roommate to my small gundam filled studio of over 100. It's a difficult job trying to put MSIA, EMSIA, HCMpro, Gundam FIX, Zeonography, Arch Enemy, DX, Metal/ Chogokin and Gundam Collection ships all together and still make it look good, and its not only different types of figures in different scales and size and poses, but different series's of figures, a MSIA Wing Gundam next to a HCM Pro Destiny next to a Gundam Fix RX-78 Version Kai dpesn't look good.
My question is this
1) Can you guys post pictures of your collection? Not lots of individual gundam pics but pics of how you post your collection (I'm looking at you zepanthes)
2) Do any of you know where I can buy a large glass cabinet (besides the IKEA ones because I already bought 2). A bigger cabinet.
Please refer to Gundam Collection 3 if you would like to see pics of how I display my Gundams

I would have to agree with Vic in this situation. I like grouping the different series together, whether it be 1/144 scale, HG 1/144, 1/100, 1/100 MG, PG, FIX, DX, etc. It's a great way to compare the variations in the mobile suits, especially since they are of the same scale/level of detail. I know some people can pull off mixing different items together, but when i do it, it just looks like a jumboed mess. LOL
